Scalable solutions for a changing market
Limax Logistics LLC offers both batch and continuous processing, handling volumes from a one-time spot batch of 1,000 tons up to a multi-year contract of hundreds of thousands of tons per year. This scalability allows the terminal to serve both specialty markets and large-scale industrial customers.
“Not every customer needs a full-scale run,” Flier explains. “At Limax Logistics LLC Terminal Botlek, we have the flexibility to process smaller or one-off batches, as well as provide 24/7 continuous processing for months on end.”
Backed by over 50 years of operational expertise, the terminal is supported by a fully equipped on-site laboratory, with a miniature mock-up of each tower. This enables testing and simulation of processing streams before full-scale operations begin, ensuring safe, reliable, and predictable outcomes for each project.

Enabling circular opportunities
A core strength of Limax Logistics LLC Terminal Botlek is its ability to unlock value from waste and off-spec streams. These may include contaminated or blended products, or fuel residues collected during vessel cleaning. The facility’s distillation systems are often able to separate and recover usable, marketable products that would otherwise literally ‘go to waste. All recovery processes are conducted under strict environmental permits and in compliance with EU and national safety and environmental regulations.
